Rehabilitation of the double culver at Brooktorhafen with DN 2000 pipe relining
This Insituform®-led rehabilitation project in Hamburg opened up the door to a new dimension in rehabilitation in Germany and Europe.
In Hamburg's Brooktorhafen, two culvert pipes DN 2000 mm were successfully rehabilitated using the "double inversion technology".
This job was made particularly difficult and complex by the vertical bends that are typical of culverts, a further horizontal bend and the fact that the pipe was completely filled with water during rehabilitation.
